We had a wonderful Christmas. This year Ella understood very well what Christmas was all about...PRESENTS. Just kidding. We also took a lot of time explaining to her the real reason we celebrate Christmas. It was fun to have baby Seth as a stand in for baby Jesus.
At the big Petersen Family Christmas party Ella showed she understood the Nativity. Although another cousin was chosen as Mary this year. Ella decided her role as "angel #3" was also baby Jesus' baby sitter/wet nurse, when she stole Jesus out of his manger and started rocking and burping him to the astonishment of "Mary".
For Christmas Ella received her pink kitchen that she was dying for. She also got a bunch of other fun toys, clothes and games. Thanks to Santa, and some loving grandparents, great grandparents and aunts and uncles.
Seth got a pretty great Christmas present himself. A new boy cousin, Tate, who is just a few months younger. Seth is the ginormo baby on the right busting out of his 3-6 month outfit (he is 4 months old).

It's so fun when they have cousins their same age, huh? Looks like you guys have been busy! Sorry we didn't catch up at Christmas. Jason's uncle died and we went up to the funeral, cutting down our Utah Valley time...
