Ella's asked for a dinosaur theme for her birthday party. As many of you know she is obsessed with all things dinosaur. We have learned all their names, got a pass to the dinosaur museum and bought tickets to "Walking with the Dinosaurs". But she didn't want a dinosaur cake. She wanted the chocolate bundt cake she loves. So we put all her dinosaur toys around it.
Ella did really well blowing out her candles this year. Granted there were only three but she still got the job done.
Chelsea tracked down these cool balloons and plates and napkins with dinosaurs on them after we called every party store in the area. You wouldn't think it would be that hard to find dinosaur party stuff. Don't most children go through a dinosaur fascination stage?
Ella's friends Sage and Carter came to her party. They had a fun time playing around with the balloons and eating cake. Sage thought it was funny to let go of her balloon and watch it float to the top of the very high ceiling. Ella would get on top of Chelsea's shoulders and reach the ribbon and pull it down over and over and over. Good thing they put extra long ribbon on them.
Ella received lots of wonderful presents. Thanks again to everyone for attending and for the wonderful presents. We had a major snow storm the night of her party and it was amazing that so many people still came.

Happy Birthday to sweet Ella! And oh my, those pictures of Seth in your last post are precious, Reb. We got passes to Thanksgiving Point this year- we should meet up soon for an outing! I can't believe it's been so long since I've seen you!
