This month I got lucky. Seth's 4 month appointment coincided with Ella's 3 yr check-up so I only had to make one doctor trip. When you see how hard it is to get these two ready and in their car seats and haul them into the doctor's office and back home again you will understand my elation. You will also understand why I brought an entourage with me (namely my mom and sister).
I was very glad that I had back up when we found out Ella had to have a blood test. Grandma just explained what they were doing and Ella was fine. She watched intently and asked questions and then was happy when she got a sparkly bandaid and a sticker. Must be her father's daughter. I would have closed my eyes and tried not to pass out.
Ella thought the check up was really fun and she was such a great patient. Our doctor's office is right next to a McDonalds. Every time we get there Ella asks "Are we going to Old McDonald's?" We rarely take her there but I generally cave when she has Dr appointments. Especially after this appointment when the Dr told me to try to increase her fat intake.
Seth's head is doing it's fair share of growing as is the rest of him. He is now 70th percentile for head size, 80th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight.
All in all the Doctor said the kids look great which is what every mother wants to hear. We'll see you in another month and a half or maybe sooner, the kids both started coughing a few days ago.
