Pumpkin Picking

There is a cute family farm near our house. We thought it would be fun to check it out and let the kids pick some pumpkins.

Wagon rides are always a good time for the under 4 set.

As soon as we let the kids loose they pointed to every pumpkin they saw "Let's get this one!" Seth had a knack for finding the weirdest pumpkins to choose.

Ella went through about 3 or 4 pumpkins. She would carry it to the wagon and then 5 minutes later change her mind about it. Just like a woman.

A dad and a lad.

Another one of Seth's weird pumpkin choices. I have to say this was the coolest weird one.

After choosing their pumpkins we discovered there was a mini corn maze. We never pass up a good corn maze, or even a bad one for that matter. Ella and Daddy successfully maneuvered us out of it.

What's more fun then riding in a wagon? Pulling a wagon. On the return voyage Ella insisted on pulling Seth and their pumpkin choices.

It was slow going because the sun was in her eyes and her brother is heavier than he looks. As we were buying our pumpkins we found that they made their own cider. We bought some and it lasted a whole 1 1/2 days.

This looks like so much fun--I like Seth's taste in pumpkins.

I feel extremely blessed when I see what wonderful parents my grandchildren have!
