Art Class

Ella has always loved art. When I saw this cute class at Thanksgiving Point we thought we'd give it a try. Seth got to spend the morning at Wendy's house playing with his buddy Matthew (pronounced Ma-Chew by Seth), so he didn't mind missing the class.

My friend had a fun girls night at her house where we made headbands. Ella liked hers so much she insisted on wearing it the next day. Here she is striking a pose.



The class was really fun. She made 4 different projects. The first one was this butterfly pasta collage.



Next she made a little sketch pad to do more art in. The last two projects, not pictured, were a crocodile made out of molding clay, and a patterned necklace. Seth "accidentally" destroyed the crocodile.



Finally we got to go tour the art institute at Thanksgiving Point and watch them do some glass blowing. Ella enjoyed the class very much and it was fun to have some one on one time together.
