Caleb very much enjoyed the slide at the park. They would run over to the park and get nice and hot and then cool off in the water. If you can see, Ella is in the back talking on the little telephone tube. She was just going on and on about princesses and water and hoping that someone would come to the other end and listen to her. That is how she met her friend Halle. Halle was at the splash park with her Grandma and sister (for Grandma Saturday). They had such a good time that we decided to meet at the park the next Friday for another play date.
Seth was a little unsure of the water. He would stick his toes in it and maybe even a hand but that is about as close as he got.
Seth was walking through the park when the mister turned on. It freaked him out pretty good. He ran to Rob and me screaming "water face towel!"
Ella and Caleb got along great and really had a good time. Her they are exhibiting the sometimes lost art of turn taking.
Some cute kids excited to go in the water.
Seth didn't really quite want to go IN the water. I think he was just excited to be in the group.
A little puddle spashing.
The water did in fact spray and mist but unfortunately none of my pictures captured it. The kids could push a little button and the water would run through the set cycle and then turn off until the button was pushed again. Guess who loved pushing the button? (hint-this is a trick question). Everyone!
Ella and Caleb playing tag while Seth holds the watering can which would never see any water inside. Seth was too scared to fill it up. Still they had a great time and we have been back often.

That's really cute! Is it close to your home? Washington doesn't specialize in warm/sunny weather attractions so the kids get gypped when it is actually sunny.
Ya there are like 4 of these splash parks within 10 minutes of us. They are great. But if it was sunnier in Washington it wouldn't be as beautifully green!
