Mom and baby are in a separate area from the other elephants and you can get a really good look at them.
The elephant baby, Zuri, is so cute. Seth and I could have watched all day. Seth was so fascinated he just kept pointing at them and looking at my response.
We usually skip the play area because it is so crowded. This time there was hardly anyone there so the kids got some good play time in. Seth was quite at home in the turtle shell.
Grandma Judi, Aunt Chelsea, and Uncle Chad came in our entourage. You know how we like to roll.
Come on, this boy is the peak of perfection!
Yeah I know I have a weird look on my face. That is my, I can't believe I maneuvered my way up here tripping on the cement and nearly cracking my skull, enduring the 500 degree heat in here while trying to balance a 20 lb boy for a bunch of prairie dogs, face. Never again.
It is always a project for Ella to decide which animal she wants to ride on the carousel. She has to try out a couple before she settles on just the right one. Luckily Grandma Judi understands the delicate nature of this process and can offer support.
We caught the bird show this trip. It was really fun but they had to cut the show a bit short because the Golden Eagle decided to fly up into a tree and not come down. I usually like shows better when they don't go totally according to plan.
Cruisin in style.
Seth also loved the zebras. There was much pointing.

FINALLY! A post! I love it. That day was so much fun! You forgot the part about when we ate a combined total of 40 lbs of sugar from cotton candy, and saw an eiffel tower bong whilst trying to get slurpies. :)
That picture of Seth-a-boy in the cement thing...OH MY CUTE. He really is.
I love the picture of you and Seth-a-boy watching the baby elephant. It's fun to see Chelsea and Chad looking so happy...aaahh...the joy of being newlyweds.
