Cookie Cutters

Ella hates getting her hair cut. We decided to try Cookie Cutters because they cater to kids like her and she is used to being catered to. They asked her which car she wanted to sit in. Without hesitation she picked the pink car with the poodle on it. She got to watch Mickey Mouse and drive her car. Ella barely noticed they were cutting her hair. At one point they handed her some bubbles to blow. Many of you know that Ella struggles with blowing. She held that wand in her hand and tried and tried. Finally she looked up at the girl and said "I think your bubbles are broken." We had a good laugh. Last but not least the hairstylist put gloss on her hair that smelled like cookies, Ella was sold.

After a few trips down the slide and a balloon and sucker she was ready to go.

The cut was pretty good but the stylist did put this little twisted ponytail in her hair. By twisted I mean the hair was twisted under itself in some artistic manner and then put into an elastic. It looked a little weird and it was a nightmare to remove. Scissors were used. In the future I think we will get the cut but not the style thanks.

It looks cute and what a fun idea for Valentine's Day! It's nice to have something for the kids since they usually go to the babysitter that night...
