Charmer Boy

Here's our little Top Gun. This jacket always makes me laugh when I see him in it. Seth is such a smiley sweet guy, especially around the ladies. One of my friends was smiling at him and he was grinning back when she said "Oh he's a charmer boy." Apparently Ella was listening because later that night Ella informed us that Seth was a "Chommer boy". It took me a minute to figure out what she was saying but ever since then we have been calling him Chommer Boy (charmer boy).

Seth has tried all the baby food vegetables and thoroughly enjoys them all. He is such a great eater. He eats whatever we give him and he is extremely patient while he waits for his food, even if it takes me a few minutes. The only problem we do have is that he gets really excited when he is eating. He gets his fingers in his food and then ends up getting extremely messy. I guess it just tastes better if you get it all over you.

He has been eating like a fool but I recently noticed that more was going in than was coming out. I just thought eventually the problem would correct itself so I just waited. This evening I put Seth in his exersaucer while I made dinner. He was having a great time so I didn't pay much attention to him. Then I started to smell something really bad. I was smelling the food and checking the pantry and the garbage to figure out where the odor was coming from. Then I went into the living room where Seth was to discover ....

...that the problem had corrected itself all over the exersaucer. Seth didn't seem to mind at all. In fact he seemed to be happily skating in it. I'm convinced that he would have remained happy for quite some time had I not come along to spoil his fun. What happened next was a blur of messy clothes, multiple baths and heavy sterilization. Luckily daddy was nearby to finish dinner because this mess had me tied up for a full hour.

I'm glad I had the presence of mind to take a few pictures before the craziness began. Now I have proof because someday this will come in handy. Dude, you owe me!

Eww! Those messes are the worst! I hope he doesn't save up and explode often.

I am so glad that he wasn't sitting on an upholstered chair or the carpet when this happened!

The eating video is so darling--I watched it 3 times today.

I have the cutest grandchildren on the planet!

Yep, it was pretty awesome. Unluckily both of our kids are exploders. Good thing they are so cute!
