This year Chelsea, Rachel and I decided to get together and cook mom a birthday dinner and cake. She and dad were in Park City for a couple of days and we thought it would be fun to have dinner ready when they returned. We made grilled chicken with fettuccine alfredo. I baked the cupcakes and Chelsea cutified them.

Ella ready to eat some cupcakes, well at least the frosting off the cupcakes. She never actually eats the entire cupcake. The first time she did it I said "Ella why don't you eat the rest of the cupcake?" Then I realized it was ridiculous to convince your child to eat all their dessert.

Seth loves him some Grandma and cake. He is turning into such a little boy and learning so much. He kept pointing to the dinosaur on his shirt and saying "rarrr!"

You know, I don't think I've met Seth as a toddler. I think that if I've seen him at all, he was just a wee baby. Man, things have got to change! You guys are so thoughtful to throw a party for your mom. I hope whatever my mom has doesn't make it's way through your family too...
