Museum of Ancient Life

Today we visited the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point. We came with Ella's best friend Aubrey and her mom Emily and Grandma Judi. Ella is really into dinosaurs so this was right up her alley. We visited last year but Ella was a bit too little to fully appreciate it. This time she was prepared and new many of the dinosaur names when she saw them. It was priceless to hear this little 2 year old running around screaming "That's a Diplodocus!" When she saw her favorite dinosaur the Triceratops she was very excited and had to give it a hug.

This is Ella as a Trilobite holding a Triceratops puppet. She got to do a Trilobite fossil rubbing with a crayon which she insisted on showing Daddy.

The sand and water room was really neat. Ella was very excited to play with the dinosaurs in the sand. Then she realized that it meant getting her hands messy. So she immediately left the play area and headed to the sink.
