It begins...

As of yesterday Ella has officially started potty training! We have taken a casual approach to the whole process. We let her roam the house mostly, or in some cases, completely naked. Then when it is time she yells "Mommy potty!" and we dash to the potty chair. Then she is rewarded with 1 m&m for sitting on the potty and 3 if she produces. She loves watching me dump her "potty" into the big toilet and then she helps flush. We are thrilled with her progress in only 2 days! Hopefully it will keep up but we do expect some back sliding. As of now she shows no interest in wearing "big girl underwear" but she doesn't want to wear diapers either. When we mention that she is becoming such a big girl she gets very offended and yells "no Ella baby!" None of this really bothers me as long as she is still doing great work on the potty.
